Jet and Oil

Jet and Oil live a symbiotic relationship, with Jet as the host and Oil living off him, protecting him and helping him out in fights. Oil also provides a secondary view of his surroundings and does not need sleep, as well as allows Jet to walk, as he lost his legs a long time back when his town of Oroos was attacked by bandits. A grenade took out his legs, and had Oil not been there to replace his natural legs with him, Jet would've died due to blood loss.

Oil's abilities include shapeshifting from tentacles, to Jet's legs, which is his default state after connecting to Jet. Oil is also able to think, speak, and see, as well as extend his body, however, he has his limits and though he can detach from Jet for a given amount of time, Oil reverts to his liquid state and is partially useless without him. Oil does not need to eat, but he does mimic eating to help energize Jet. He connects from the base of his neck all the way to his hip, extending himself to create legs and feet for Jet. Oil is also viscous, but can switch from solid to liquid depending on Jet's need in battle.

Jet is not helpless either, as he is an expert swordsman and knows certain martial arts, like boxing, capoeira, judo, and kick boxing. After loosing his legs and having Oil connect to his body, Jet's physical prowlers have doubled, plus his stamina has greatly increased. However, Jet cannot move without Oil, and separating the two could prove fatal in battle. Jet cannot go swimming either,as Oil tends to dissolve in water over time.

Thought about this two on my way home from school and based on some tailmouths on FA. Planning to use him for possible animation ideas, but that's the dream.

Also, tried out shading for the first time, sorta. Whatdya think?
